#SPICares 2026 Vogel Fundraiser:

Third Annual Charity Golf Tournament

More than a game: a record-breaking night!

We’re still buzzing from the energy at Topgolf Dallas! Our third annual Par for a Purpose charity golf tournament didn’t just meet our goals - it blew them out of the water. On Thursday, May 7, 2026, we gathered over 100 friends, partners, and community members to support our #SPICares partner, Vogel. The event surpassed all expectations.

This year felt even bigger than the last. Between the high-stakes tournament and our silent auction, we introduced both new and returning raffle donors, featuring exclusive Dallas-based experiences. The best part? 100% of every dollar raised went directly to Vogel’s mission of transforming lives across the city. Thank you for helping us prove that when Dallas plays together, we win together!

Event Highlights

Opening Remarks: The evening began with remarks from SPI Principal Michael Becker, followed by Vogel's Chief Development Officer, Greg Brinkley. Greg shared, "As we come together, tonight is already a success, as we've already raised $60,000." For nearly four decades, Vogel has provided critical early childhood education, therapeutic care, and family support services, helping some of our most vulnerable children build a strong foundation for success in school and in life.

Our goal is not only to raise awareness of the challenges these families face, but also to highlight the meaningful, measurable impact that compassionate, community-driven support can have in breaking cycles of poverty and creating lasting change. Afterward, our tournament coach reviewed the rules, and the competition kicked off.

Tournament: This year, a total of fourteen teams competed for the top score. Participants showed off their skills and fostered deeper connections while maintaining the spirited atmosphere that made last year’s event so memorable. Guests enjoyed fajitas, cold drinks, and conversations with Greg about how to get more involved with Vogel.

Impact by the Numbers: Exceeding Our Goals

The overwhelming generosity of our expanded community of supporters enabled us to surpass our $60,000 goal, raising an impressive $74,000+ in direct support of Vogel's mission - a 37% increase from last year.

With this year's contribution, since the beginning of our partnership in 2021,

We've raised $262,139 for Vogel.

These funds will directly support Vogel’s comprehensive services for homeless children and their families at three campuses in Dallas.

Impact, community, and a lot of heart. This year’s tournament proved that when our industry comes together, we can achieve the extraordinary. Every dollar raised at TopGolf is already being channeled into life-changing resources for homeless families in Dallas, providing the immediate relief and long-term stability they deserve. We are incredibly grateful to our community for stepping up in such a big way to support the mission of Vogel.

Together, we’re doing more than just playing a game - we’re changing lives!

From the bottom of our hearts, SPI Advisory and Vogel thank you. To our incredible network of corporate sponsors, individual donors, and raffle contributors: you are the engine behind this mission. To every player who joined us on the line: your energy made this event unforgettable. This year’s success is a powerful reminder that when we align our professional community with a purposeful cause, we don't just hit targets - we create lasting, generational change for Dallas families.

Special thanks to: Vogel CFO Jordan Neufeld and Director of Philanthropy Justin Rourk; SPI’s Team: Nicole Taylor, Kara Perez, Tracy Minor, Jahmaica Montague, and Jennifer Warder; and our volunteers, Sarah Browning and Suzanne Taylor, for their tireless behind-the-scenes work.

Vogel is a one-of-a-kind nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization located in Dallas, TX, operating with the mission to help young children and their families prevent and overcome the traumatic effects of homelessness and poverty. Their vision is that every child in our community has a home, a self-sufficient family, and a foundation for success in school and in life.

Since its doors opened in 1987, the organization has served well over 20,000 homeless children and their families in Dallas, providing them with food, employment, education, transportation, mental and health care, and a safe environment to thrive and grow. The detrimental effects of homelessness can last a lifetime, and that's why Vogel strives to provide services to "help families heal their trauma, empower parents to build stability, and let kids just be kids."

Together, we're not just playing for par, we're playing for purpose – transforming lives in our community.
