#SPICares: 2025 "Par for a Purpose" Charity Golf Tournament
#SPICares 2025 Vogel Fundraiser:
Second Annual Charity Golf Tournament
Building on Success, Expanding Our Impact
We're excited to announce the success of our second annual Par for a Purpose charity golf tournament in support of our #SPICares partner, Vogel. Building on last year's momentum, this year's event surpassed all expectations.
On Thursday, May 15, 2025, over 100 guests joined us at Topgolf Dallas for an evening of golf, community building, and giving back. In addition to our signature tournament and silent auction, this year's event introduced a raffle featuring exclusive experiences and items generously donated from local Dallas favorites. As always, 100% of proceeds directly benefitted Vogel, the dedicated 501(c)(3) non-profit organization transforming lives throughout Dallas.
Event Highlights
Opening Remarks: The evening began with remarks from SPI Principal Michael Becker, followed by Vogel's Chief Development Officer, Greg Brinkley. Greg shared a sobering statistic in his address to the crowd: Dallas leads the nation in child poverty and homelessness, and the fastest-growing segment of homeless families is single mothers in their early twenties with one or two kids below the age of six. "I can't help but notice there are a lot of men in this room," he said. "It's time for us as men to make up for where so many others dropped the ball." Afterward, our tournament coach reviewed the rules, and the competition kicked off.
Tournament: This year, a total of fourteen teams competed for the top score. Participants showed off their skills and fostered deeper connections while maintaining the spirited atmosphere that made last year's event so memorable. Guests enjoyed fajitas, cold drinks, and conversations with Greg about how to get more involved with Vogel.

Impact by the Numbers: Exceeding Our Goals
The overwhelming generosity of our expanded community of supporters enabled us to surpass our $50,000 goal, raising an impressive $54,000+ in direct support of Vogel's mission, a 30% increase from last year.
With this year's contribution, since the beginning of our partnership in 2021,
We've raised over $188,000 for Vogel.
These funds will directly support Vogel's comprehensive services for the estimated 4,500+ homeless children and the families they serve annually.
The success of this year's tournament demonstrates the incredible power of community. Seeing our industry come together in full force to achieve something so impressive was remarkable. Every dollar raised is already transforming lives and breaking the cycle of poverty and homelessness for families in Dallas, providing immediate relief and pathways to long-term stability and success.
We are profoundly moved and incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support and generosity from our community.
SPI Advisory and Vogel extend our deepest appreciation to our expanded network of corporate sponsors, individual donors, raffle contributors, and every participant who made this year's event possible. Your continued support proves that together, we can create lasting change.
Special thanks to Vogel CFO Jordan Neufeld and SPI's Nicole Taylor, Lily Turner, Jennifer Warder, Tracy Minor, and Jahmaica Montague for their tireless behind-the-scenes work.
