Investors often ask us what they can do to prepare for a 506(c) Offering in advance given that our Offerings fill up quickly. Besides reading emails we send out with information about the Offering, there are several steps you can take now to prepare.
Join our Database
If you are not already receiving email communications from us, be sure to fill out our Passive Investing Interest Form to join our database.
Test your SPI Investor Portal Login
You will participate in the SPI Offering process via your SPI Investor Portal. This includes Opting In to express your interest in learning more. So, please make sure now that you are able to log into your account. Working out any issues now will ensure you can move quickly once the Offering is available.
If you’ve not created your SPI Investor Portal Login...
Whenever you complete our Passive Investing Interest Form, Michael Becker sends you a Welcome email with instructions on creating a login to our SPI Investor Portal. Be sure to create your login. See our Login Instructions page if you need help. Contact information is available at the bottom of the Login Instructions page if you encounter issues.
If you’ve not logged into your SPI Investor Portal for a while...
You may not have seen that SPI’s Investor Portal requires Two-Factor Authentication for added account security. If you haven’t enabled it yet, you’ll be prompted to do so the next time you log in.
Follow the steps outlined in 'Two Factor Authentication Instructions' to enable it for your SPI Investor Portal.
If the last time you logged in was several years ago, you may need to request access to our current SPI Investor Portal.
Prepare to Invest
Would you like to shortcut your work once the 506(c) Offering is live? I wrote a cheat sheet in a previous article called Preparing to Invest that will guide you on steps to take now that will save you time later. Be sure to see links to resources towards the end of the article for a Third-Party Verification Letter Template we provide. The article also has a button you can click to access our Preparing to Invest Resources page.
We look forward to working with you on SPI's next 506(c) offering!
Happy Investing!
