Dallas Business Journal Commercial Real Estate News | September 26, 2017 | Candace Carlisle - Now that Amazon has announced plans to build a second North American headquarters, Dallas has joined the race to submit a bid to become the new home for the online retailer giant. The proposed development site is in Trinity Groves, a rapidly growing neighborhood in west Dallas. The new Amazon headquarters is "expected to cost up to $5 billion to build to house upwards of 50,000 people". If Amazon were to build in Dallas, it would bring tens of thousands of new jobs and potential apartment seekers to the DFW area.
